Stanford ranking of 2% most cited scientists annonuced!

Stanford University announces annually their ranking of top 2% most cited scientists in the world. We are proud to see our Head of the Department Prof. Jarosław Walkowiak and Prof. Karl Heinz Herzig among them this year.

Both of them were ranked in two categories:

  • the most cited authors in the scope of their career-long impact,
  • the impact of publications in the year 2021.

It is worth noting that the citations reflect the scientific impact rather than productivity (number of publications). This measure also includes information on co-authorship and author positions in the paper (single, first, last author).
