The first ceremonial Science Gala, organized by the Chancellors of Science, was held on May 31st, 2022.
During the Gala, the Rector's Scientific Awards were given to scientists and teams with the highest achievements in 2020, awarded in 2021.
Individual awards were received by 22 scientists, including our colleague - Jan Nowak, MD, PhD.
10 Leaders received awards for scientific effectiveness.
Team awards in three disciplines: pharmaceutical sciences, health sciences and medical sciences were presented to the leaders of 34 research teams, including our Department's team.
The ceremony was honored with two festive lectures and a piano concert. Our colleague, Dr. Jan Nowak, gave a presentation entitled "Transcriptomic Characteristics of Inflammatory Bowel Disease: From Gene Expression to Prediction."
