We are pleased to announce that the head of our Department, prof. Jarosław Walkowiak MD, PhD was appointed as Chief of the Institute of Pediatrics. The establishment of the Institute of Paediatrics was approved by the University Senate by resolution 260/2020 in August 2020. The appointment took place at the Faculty of Medicine Council on October 7th, 2020.
The name of the institution previously existed in the years 1970-2000.
